Amazing Bridges to Drive
If you like your driving, sometimes normal roads fail to give you the adrenaline rush that you need. So why not take a trip and visit some of the most amazing bridges in the world, to gorge on beautiful architecture and stunning drives.
The Brooklyn Bridge, New York: part of the iconic New York City skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the states. It was completed in 1883 and until 1903 it was the longest suspension brige in the world.
The helix bridge, Singapore: if ultra modern is your style, then this is a great bridge to drive. It links the marina centre to the marina bay in the city, and serves as a gallery to see some of the beautiful views of Singapore.
The rainbow bridge, Tokyo: linking Tokyo with Odaiba, this is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, especially at night. The bridge glitters in various colours after dark, gleaning light from solar panels in the day.
The Navajo bridge, Arizona: one of the only roadway crossings of the Grand Canyon, the road had to be reinforced nearly twenty years ago due to the sheer weight of traffic crossing the canyon.
The Coronado Bridge, San Diego: built tall enough to let naval ships under, the bridge took two years to finish and is stunning.
The tower bridge, London: this bridge was once the source of fury to an American, who purchased London Bridge thinking it was tower bridge. He imagined he would bet this iconic bridge, and ended up with a regular bridge crossing the river.
If you are hoping to do any of these drives this holiday, make sure you have a comprehensive Car Insurance policy.

The Bridge $8.59 The man who wakes up in the extraordinary world of a bridge has amnesia and his doctor doesn’t seem to want to cure him. Does it matter? Exploring the bridge occupies most of his days. But at night there are his dreams. Dreams in which desperate men drive sealed carriages across barren mountains to a bizarre rendezvous; an illiterate barbarian storms an enchanted tower under a stream of verbal abuse; and broken men walk forever over bridges without end taunted by visions of a doomed sexuality. Lying in bed unconscious after an accident wouldn’t be much fun you’d think. Oh yes? It depends who and what you’ve left behind. Which is the stranger reality day or night? Frequently hilarious and consistently disturbing THE BRIDGE is a novel of outrageous contrasts constructed chaos and elegant absurdities. The man who wakes up in the extraordinary world of a bridge has amnesia and his doctor doesn’t seem to want to cure him.
