What is the name of the state park on the southern tip of South Padre Island Texas?
I vacationed at a state park on South Padre Isalnd Texas in 2005. It had cabanas and camping right on the beach. I know after you cross the bridge you turned right and followed that to the end where you stopped to check in.
You must be talking about Padre Island Isla Blanca Park on the southern tip. Two campgrounds there are: Isle Blanca Park ( Cameron County Park) (956) 761-5493 and Destination South Padre Island (800) 867-2373. I don’t see this listed as a state pake though. It does fit your description.
You drive across the bridge from Port Isabel on SR 100, turn right to the park on the south end of the island.
